Update on Plant Operating Capacities
Uboldo (VA) – 23 June 2020: LU-VE Group reports that the production activities of its plants have returned almost entirely to their normal levels.
In all company facilities, the measures envisaged to guarantee the safety and health of workers and operators are active (sanitization, controlled maintenance of safety distances, disinfectants, masks and protective gloves, temperature control at the entrance, etc.). All Group companies (in Italy and abroad) and all employees observe the guidelines provided by the Italian Ministry of Health (and their respective national health authorities), by the World Health Organization on the precautions to be taken; as well as the indications provided by Confindustria.
The production of the Italian plants has returned to the levels prior to the Covid-19 emergency, with a production capacity of 100%. The activity of the offices proceeds regularly through remote working, based on current national regulations.
The facilities in Gliwice (Poland) and Asarum (Sweden) operate at a normal rate, while those in Novosedly (Czech Rep.), Vantaa (Finland) and Lipetsk (Russia) have instead increased their production volumes to meet growing demand.
There are excellent results also in the Tianmen plant (Hubei, China), which reopened in mid-March It is now working at regular pre-Covid rates, with the prospect of a substantial increase in volumes in the coming weeks.
The level of production efficiency in the Jacksonville (Texas, USA) factory is also regular.
The activity of the Indian plants in Bhiwadi (Rajasthan, India) and Sarole (Maharashtra, India) is gradually resuming, having now reached 70% of production capacity after the lockdown period.
