LU-VE Group: Galli just a whisker away from the italian title
Gabriele Galli, the skater from Uboldo sponsored by LU-VE Group, finished 2nd at the Italian Ice Skating Championships.
Just back after a recent operation and competing without a support team, Gabriele pursued a one-against-all strategy: in the lead up to the last corner, the gold was played for over the last few meters, with his time of 9'11 " 43 against the 9'11 ”42 of the winner Andrea Giovannini of the Financial Police.
So the season finishes with a flourish looking straight towards the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics. There are two places available on the Italian team and Gabriele is confident that he can still improve in September when the new season begins.
